He rent, or tore, his own coat and wrote the following words on it:</div><div><br /></div><div>"In memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children."</div><div><br /></div><div>Captain Moroni then fastened his torn coat on a pole and called it the "Title of Liberty". He then went from village to village and from city to city, waving the torn coat in the air and calling for all those who were willing to maintain the "Title of Liberty" upon the land to come forth in the strength of the Lord and fight to maintain their rights and their religion.</div><div><br /></div><div>Today we face the same challenges as Captain Moroni and his people. From within our own nation, we face an enemy that is every bit as real. Their weapons are different. Their intent is the same: destroy religion, freedom, family, and especially God. Through great subtlety and flattering words they bray forth their message as they seek to establish a state religion of secular humanism and moral relativism.</div><div><br /></div><div>The purpose of this blog is to raise the "Title of Liberty" in our day, and like Captain Moroni, call all those who will maintain it upon our land to have the courage to fight back by speaking out and being heard. We firmly espouse the belief that people of religious faith have the same right to speak out for what we believe, just as those who disagree with us. Indeed, we have the obligation to do so.
